These are the people who made a difference in our lives during Jamie's healing process. We want to recognize and acknowledge these special people. Thank you for your positive attitude and your support.

Jack Vance (The one and only amazing brother to Jamie) – His constant flow of love and positive attitude helped each day in our endeavors.

  Dr. Jay Wilson – The first doctor who opened my eyes to allergies and supplements. He's a wonderful doctor, always positive and open-minded.

  Pat Frasier at Helios Health Center of Boulder, CO – For her help on putting together a formula for the boys.

  Bill Cunningham of White Dove Healing Arts – For getting us off to an incredible start, reversing the problem with homeopathy and the QX (Quantum Xeroid). His knowledge and support will always be remembered.

  Dr. Robert Vance D.O., H.M.D. (Jamie's proud grandfather) – Resources galore! A maverick in his day of medicine and holistic background. He is a constant source of unending knowledge for us. We are grateful for his love and support.

  Deanna Jarvis at New Hope Clinic ( Tijuana , Mexico ) – For opening my eyes for the first time to experiencing energetic medicine, and for her hard work and knowledge in explaining what was going on inside Jamie's brain.

  Dr. Terri Grossman M.D. – His incredible positive attitude and knowledge on autism and detoxification helped so much in getting things done. He was one of the turning points in Jamie's recovery.

  The Option Institute – What an amazing place! This institute offers so much to children and their entire families. We so enjoyed our stay while working with the Options Institute. I think it's a “must” for all parents. Thank you to the Barry Neal Kaufman family.

  Bryn Hogan (Executive Director of the Autism Treatment Center of America) – For her support and knowledge, I have learned so much from our time at the Options Institute and our many conversations since then. I laughed a lot too.

  Raun Kaufman (An inspiration) – having achieved a full recovery from autism by the time he was age four and graduated with honors from Brown University . He is now an instructor at the Options institute and lectures across the US . He brought us so much strength and hope.

  Emily Potts (Jamie's first assistant) – Her sweet nature and love for Jamie was a precious gift.

  Samahria Kaufman (Co-founder and Co-director of the Options Institute, also mother of Raun) – A mother whom I respect tremendously, she gave me a basis for my inspiration that autism can be cured.

  Dr. Luc Maes and Barbara – His calm nature is comforting and reassuring. His unquenchable thirst for knowledge is staggering. I am grateful for his always having a positive attitude and trying new ideas. Luc and Barbara make an incredible team and were always there when we needed them and still are. They are cherished personal friends.

  Dr. Gary Klepper (Our “Ace-in-the-hole”) – He is one of the brightest doctors I know. He always made me feel like everything was going to be okay. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for him.

  Beth Goodman (My closest friend and confidant) – I will be forever grateful in my life for having her as my friend. She has continuous words of wisdom and support. She has always been there when I needed her.

  Sue Cook (My mom) – My inspiration. As I get older and I continue to gain more knowledge, I only gain more appreciation for what an incredible mother you are and what it really takes to be a Mom.

  Stephanie Griggs – An incredible friend who gives such amazing love and support. She was there so many times when I needed her and it didn't matter if it was the middle of the night. Her calmness and incredible attitude about life inspires me. My friend forever (and her husband, James, for his support and incredible friendship).

  Bertha Aguirre (My nanny) – She endured many nights of no sleep. She would go without sleep for days to stay up with Jamie. I will always remember you. I have many thanks to you and I'm grateful for the many years you've been part of our lives. Thank You! She's a wonderful cook, too.

  Autism Research Institute – For helping us find Dr. Terry Grossman and helping open peoples eyes to supplements, therapies, and other options. What an incredible resource.

  Heather Anderson – She helped us begin the process of writing this story. Thank you for all of your hard work and continued friendship.

  Aimee Hagar (A great, supportive friend) – She worked many hours for me. I will always remember the laughing fits we had.

  Christi Phelps (Owner of Unique Prints, Occupational Therapist) – One of the best occupational therapists out there. She is always on a path to learn more and, in turn, to help the children. She and her staff have been a continual support for our family.

  Dr. Max Collins – An incredible doctor, for having knowledge beyond my comprehension most of the time. We completed Jamie's healing with his Laser Diode. Also, thanks to his wonderful family in giving him the inspiration.

  Joan Eckert (Founder of GEMS School, Speech Pathologist) – A wonderful therapist. She really knows how to work with the children with Autism and other disorders. Her forever-positive attitude and outlook on life. She goes out on a limb daily to help children.

  Gems School in Denver , Colorado – An incredible school that helped Jamie so much. There should be more schools like this in every city around the nation.
  Dr. Garry Gordon of Longevity Plus Products – He opened my eyes to new things. Thank You!

  Roshelle Greenbaum (Speech Language Pathologist) – We took Jamie to Shelly at the perfect time. She is one of the best therapists I know.

Great Smokey's Lab – For all their wonderful lab work.

  Lynne Heitler (Social Worker) – For helping my husband and me through all of this and helping us make sense of it -- the best thing that happened to our marriage.

  William Shaw, author of Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD – Thank you for writing this book. It was my bible for sometime. I learned so much!

  Maya Kaya (Registered Craniosacral Therapist) – For her help in getting me through the trauma. A highly knowledgeable therapist and continued friend.

  Jenny Lee (Music Therapist) – Jamie loves Jenny Lee. He couldn't wait until she came each week. She's a special person.

  Music of the Minds (CD) and Baby Einstein – We listened to all this music. Thank you to the makers.

  Diane Osaki (Occupational Therapist) – For her help in getting specialists to our home. Her knowledge of diagnostic testing helped to give us ideas on what therapies were necessary.

  Helen Peak – Her incredible intuition with her work in re-patterning Jamie and me. She continues to be a special person in our lives.

  David Peregoy (A Denver fireman) – For taking the time to volunteer to help Jamie with the Son-Rise Program in our home.

  Nanette Powell – Another wonderful volunteer who helped with Jamie and the Son-Rise Program.

  Judi Salisan and Joe Yuzzi – For their friendship and support.

  Dr. Jerri Rubin – One of the best pediatricians I have ever met! I love that he uses alternative medicine along with Western medicine in his practice. His intuition as a person and as a doctor is very rare.

  Jenny Maurette (Speech Language Pathologist) – For coming to our house every week. She helped Jamie tremendously.
